Samsung Thunders tab James Thompson IV, ex Poderosa MNT

Seoul Samsung Thunders (KBL) inked 25-year old American power forward James Thompson IV (208-109kg-95, college: EMU). He started the season at Poderosa Pallacanestro Montegranaro in Italian Serie A2. In 18 games he averaged 13.4ppg and 9.9rpg this season. The last season Thompson IV played at Eastern Michigan University in NCAA where in 32 games he had 11.0ppg and 10.9rpg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to All-MAC 2nd Team and MAC All-Defensive Team. Thompson IV also played 1 game in where he recorded 8 points and 8 rebounds.
Among other achievements Thompson IV's team was regular season runner-up in MAC West Division in 2018. He received also All-MAC Freshman of the Year award back in 2016 at his college time.
Thompson IV graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2019 and it is his first season in pro basketball.
